Getting ready for Christmas has been so fun; We went to the light parade and watched Santa come in. Layla loved all the lights and we were totally freezing! But it was worth it. We put up the trees and Layla had about 30 ornaments in a 6 inch circle but she sang the whole time. And of course what would a day be like without a little dancing on the Wii :) Were excited for the big day and were trying to get her to see Santa this week...fingers crossed!
Well we had a great Thanksgiving, Mamaw and Papaw came and stayed with us and we ate and played games all week, Layla loved seeing them and is still asking if they are here! We have been doing some Christmas stuff and getting ready for baby to come :) We finished Layla's new room which turned out great. Its a really cute shabby chic theme and Todd spent a lot of time on it. The tree on the wall with the window was a great idea and Todd and Dad each painted her a bird. Todd refinished the dresser and mirror and I found the daybed and bedding online. She always says its so pretty :)And besides that we got our first snow which meant that Layla and Banana were outside building a snowman and of course Layla ate his face :) Things are great and I will try to stay more on top of this thing!!!
Well Layla loves Halloween! She says it non-stop so we did as many fun things as we could think of. We went up to Witchfest at Gardner Village and she got a spider on her face which was an ordeal when it came off :) We went to the Halloween party, did the Trick-or-Treating on Main St, made ghost cookies, painted pumpkins, and finally went through the neighborhood Monday night. It was so cute seeing her walk to the door by herself and not stop knocking til they answered. She loved saying trick-or-treat and of course the candy! She was the cutest chicken Ive ever seen :)
